The Legacy 2.0 10 liter race vest is a long distance mid-capacity pack that can meet entry level through championship needs. This vest comes equipped with the new Max02 Waist system. This technology gives you the flexibility of a one size fits most pack with the fit of a sized vest. The UltrAcool Light mesh is breathable and lightweight but incredibly durable to support full capacity endeavors. Like all of our race vests, the ErgoFit design ensures the least amount of body contact and zero hindrance during the arm swing motion for comfort over the long haul. The main stress point has been reinforced with a double layer 70D fabric for durability. The Legacy 2.0 has 6 pockets which are accessible on the go and capacity to carry up to a 2L reservoir. If you prefer bottles, two of the upfront pockets will carry any of our softflasks or our UltraFlask 550 Hybrid Bottle. Side pockets in the back also allow for more hydration should the scenario require it. One size fits most.

    I love ultra distance running for many reasons, one of them is how little you need to do the sport or how the equipment is a small factor into how well you perform. I can honestly say I wish I had the Legacy 2 Race Vest for the past 20 years, I had no idea what I was missing! I put my vest to the test on a 13 mile trail run – it fit like a glove and weight distribution for my bars and water was excellent, I truly didn’t notice wearing the vest. This is a must have for training or self supported longer distance runs. I can’t wait for this weekend when I hit a 30 miler.

    The Legacy 2.0 is super comfortable vest. You don’t even notice you are wearing the vest as the shock cord and the MAX02 system moves with your body. Evolutionary design coupled with attention to detail on the design and materials that are both light and incredibly durable.

    I love this vest. It’s so light, yet has room for anything I could need for my long runs and races. I am currently training for a 50 miler and have been so happy with the Legacy 2.0. I was in an Ultimate Direction race Vesta but this has replaced that hands down. I am also someone who is prone to getting hot really fast and was worried the back of this vest would be too warm. It was not. If you are on the fence, watch the You Tube video and read the reviews. You will not be disappointed in the Legacy.

    This is my favorite long run winter pack . It’s also great for shorter runs as well. Fits like a glove and has several pockets of all shapes and sizes.

    Wanted to love this pack, I had the previous version and it was great! This version, unfortunately has some durability issues. The seams on the shoulders are starting to come undone on both sides. I have used this vest about 15 times in total and probably have another 4 or 5 uses before it completely go’s to crap!

    Love this vest! I was worried it would be to big/bulky for shorter runs, but that was not the case. It’s the small details, zippers, cords, fit that really impress me about the vest. My only trouble is with reaching the bottles in the back. For now I am using a generic brand. Most likely the UltrAspire bottles are designed to have easier access without having to unsnap vest to drink.

    Incredibly light and comfortable for the capacity it holds. Very breathable. Versatile and works well for a range of distances. The main design improvement I’d do is make the main zipper have two sliders so that I can close it from the top centre or either side. There are a few other minor things but really, this is an exceptional pack that I’ve used for a few months now and will use for a long time.

    I struggled to find a race vest that would fit me as I trained for my first marathon. I worked with customer support to confirm the sizing and the vest has been perfect thus far. The pockets are accessible, and the vest fits well.

    The front pockets are perfect! I’m able to carry my phone 2 small bottles and fuel. Love the option of 2 additional bottles on the back and/or bladder. The only slight issue I’ve encountered is that the pack sort of rides up my shoulders and rubs a little on my lower neck when there isn’t any weight in the back of the pack. I am 6’2” 215lbs so might be pushing the size limit but overall this pack is much better than my UD and Solomon packs.
